April 27, 2013 and May 1, 2013We tapped into our creative sides and helped Mayo Street Arts create puppets based on stories written by students of the Telling Room. It took two nights and a room full of motivated individuals to create these puppets out of cardboard and paper mache, and paint them all! We made everything from a mini-magician to a Bible to a plate of beans. We turned up the tunes and got crafty! These puppets will be used during the Telling Room’s Big Night in addition to several parades around Portland including the National Night Out in August.
