On a cold, blustery Saturday, SPACE Gallery hosted us for an afternoon of work and ice cream in Portland’s Arts District. We took on those small but vital tasks necessary to keep the gallery looking great, including painting, sweeping, mopping, window washing, and sanding. Some good tunes from the sound system kept us moving, and we finished everything on SPACE’s to-do list and then some. After the big clean-up, SPACE treated us to an ice cream social where we could get to know staff and other volunteers. We can’t wait to check out a show and admire our handiwork!
