T.A.P. into the League of Young Voters

We went door-to-door with the League of Young Voters to get Mainers voting on Election Day. This was a nonpartisan effort to inform Portland voters  about their polling location and give them information about same-day voter registration. This evening event began with an introduction to door canvassing before dividing into 3 canvassing groups and heading into the neighborhoods. TAP participants were able to tackle a large section of the Parkside Neighborhood – a neighborhood with Portland residents that are less likely to get to the polls on Election Day. We were able to reach a lot of community members and overall had a great time on the streets of Portland!
